Bibliothèque Schlegel

I love the look of this bookshelf, it fits our decor perfectly. It was also very easy to put together and took 20 minutes. I knock off a star because the wood is very cheap feeling and looked (smelled also) like it had been spray painted black on the bottom of each shelf. There is also no protective stain or coating on the wood so it’s rough to the touch and even had a few splinters coming off of it right out of the box. Again, it looks really nice but for the price I thought it be more well made. I worry about how it will hold up over time.
