The size is perfect for our kitchen island; however, the seat is much more red (-ish) in color than I would like. The seat rim is also painted black; however, in the Wayfair picture it's not and it's a lighter color. The stools are easy to assemble and are very sturdy. Overall not a bad buy just wish the color of the seat was more true to the picture and description provided. (Our kitchen is under remodel which is why the chairs aren't at our island, yet).
