To look at, the wood is beautiful, as is the shape. However, functionally, they are a different story. One of the 2 stools we bought came slightly crooked, so that you have to rotate it to just the right spot to make it sit level, which is super irritating. And one of the pins on the stabilizer on one of the stools broke off within two weeks of purchase. Overall the stool's structural design seems poorly thought out. They are wobbly and unstable.
