Received this 4 drawer filing cabinet, very well packed. It has 30 plus pieces to it. Instructions were not complete, but doable. Once my son had it put together, he realized the slider for the drawers needed to be pushed further back. Instructions didn’t show how to place them, so he has to redo the drawers. Once that is done, drawers will fit fine. He’s already adjusted the top drawer. It’s a very nice piece, but a little unsteady. I would definitely put this together in the room you are putting it in. It’s a heavy piece once complete.

This 4-drawer wooden filing cabinet really showed up to test my New Year’s resolution to stop saying bad words. It arrived in approximately 7,432 pieces (okay, maybe slightly fewer), but if you follow the directions very closely, it’s totally doable. Take your time, double-check the steps, and you’ll survive. Once assembled, though? Totally worth it!!! I have gotten so many compliments and it's nice to be able to shuffle papers away somewhere! The textured drawer fronts are super stylish, and the handles give it that extra polished touch that makes it look way more expensive than it is. The back panel is a little on the fragile side, so just handle it gently during assembly. It works perfectly in my photography office for organizing paperwork and supplies — but honestly, it would be just as great for socks and undies if you needed a chic dresser alternative. Challenging build, fantastic result. Would assemble again… after a snack break

I am so impressed! This cabinet is really quite nice. I am not a fan of particleboard at all, however I think this piece is the exception. I love the wood look and it is actually made quite well. I love that all the pieces are labeled so well and individually packaged. The tiny screwdriver that comes with it is junk-so get yourself a good one before beginning. We had no issues with stripping out any of the holes when screwing in the screws and the instructions were actually pretty decent for a change. It is quite a heavy piece, so you do need help bringing it in once it is delivered. And I would make sure it is in place before putting the drawers in it. The backboard is just a thin piece of board, but it is sufficient to do the job. One thing to note is the order in which you put the drawers in. You must put them in the right spots and you must start with the top drawer and work your way down or they won’t go in right. Also, they are really quite hard to push in initially-so give it a good steady push to get it in initially. After they are in they are easy enough to pull out.

Big fan! Very nice and sturdy. Only thing I wished it has were locks.
