Im pleasantly surprised with how cute and functional this is. The material is somewhat velvety but not exactly velvet. Sort of plush feeling. I like that you can flip the top over to use as a hard surface in a pinch. Im able to sit on it to tie shoes etc. Dont know how durable it will be long term but for light decorative use and storage (and for the price) i think its quite nice.

Cute and versatile. The option to have a seat or a table is just genius and so useful. It’s so soft and comfortable and has so much storage. The color is true to the images and is easy to keep clean. I will be using it at the end of my bed

This is a cute bench with storage inside. It is smaller than I expected but it works well for condensing the junk in our middle schooler’s room. She likes the fact it has a table on one side. I would get it again.
