Works great! Using it for a kids room. Older kiddos who know how to be careful around delicate items. It is quite sturdy. We only use the shelves for small items like stuffed animals and other little trinkets. Nothing heavy or fragile.

This is a beautiful divider, however, it is not exactly the same as shown in the picture because the one I received has two shelves and not one as shown in the picture.
