Once it's assembled, it's mostly fine (but definitely darker than the photo suggests unless you have aggressively bright lighting); a little bit of misalignment in the drawers but it's going in my bedroom so I don't really care. But man, this thing does NOT have all the holes drilled in, especially in the rear for mounting the cardboard backing, so prepare to either drill your own or super glue things. Or just leave it with the handful of screws at the top and down the center line. It's just cardboard.
Also, it arrived broken; a block that's supposed to hold up the rails for the draws came slumped and eventually just broke off. Thankfully it was at the bottom, so I was able to superglue it in place and create another hole in the block to mount the drawer rail. A decorative piece also fell off and again had to be superglued. The packing material made a huge mess, too, and was apparently not enough to protect the parts.
The extension cord / topside plugs with usbs and everything is great, makes it perfect for a bedside piece. It's got ample space and overall is a much better piece than the plastic cubbies I've been using for my clothes (lol).
(I opted not to attach the decorative base because I was happy with the height and shape it was in with just the regular bottom attached)
Buying furniture you have to put together yourself is hit-or-miss; I have a few really great pieces, but this was by far the worst and most stubborn, but I guess when it's on memorial day sale for $250 including taxes, I can't complain TOO much. I'm learning there's a reason really great cabinets cost so much money these days.
