The bed frame is much thinner wood than I was expecting. Looks okay, but doesn’t have that “beefy” feel of good old-fashioned wooden furniture. WF sent the frame with a missing piece. When they sent missing piece they sent brown -we ordered black. Luckily we had some matte black spray paint that

I love the shape of this bedframe, however the color advertised is completely different than the color you receive. From the pictures I thought I was getting a light, warm wood, like the color of my floors. However it is a dark wood with almost a green tone to it. Super disappointing will be returning.

The only issue I have with this bed frame is that it’s not the lighter brown shown in the photo, I thought about returning it but honestly the quality is really good for the price and I’ve been searching for an inexpensive, non fabric, bed frame for our split king for a year. The height of the backboard is great, not too short. The assembly was straight forward and even my husband was impressed that the finish wasn’t cheap looking with the price we paid. I highly recommend if you’re ok with the color being darker and you’ve got a split king with an existing base. Can’t vouch for how it does with the slats and a mattress.
