The side tables are a great size, we needed ones that are on the smaller side to be able to fit on both sides of our king bed but not look like something for a kids room. The height helps make it look like a prober night stand. They were fairly easily to put together and I am overall satisfied, some imperfections but as it is wood that is to be expected. The drawers aren't as smooth as I would have liked but I'm not going to complain because of the price. We did not like the cheap pull for the drawer, so we replaced it with ones from the hardware store and it makes it look like a beautiful wood side table for a good price
