These counter height stools seem sturdy once the frame is screwed together—it comes in 5 pieces with three crossbars and two upright frames. The cushion parts then screws onto the frame. It is surprisingly comfortable with padded seat and back. The seat is deep enough to support the thighs of a 5’6” person but might not be as comfortable for someone with long legs. The green velvet is soft feeling, but the color is a little more vibrant than I was expecting. I recommend retightening the frame screws periodically to keep the chair feeling solid.

This pair of velvet counter height stools are the perfect shade of green and so soft. The sturdy base is a matte black metal finish. Assembly was pretty straightforward and easy for one person to put these together.

The chairs have a nice fabric and the seats were well made. The black metal frame is a lighter-weight metal, so while they look nice, they don’t feel especially heavy or industrial. They were well packed and came with clear instructions, which made assembly quick and easy. The chairs seemed a bit small to me, so I would recommend double checking the dimensions to be sure they’re a good fit for you and your space. Overall, they’re nice chairs and would be well suited for lighter or more occasional use rather than frequent use in a busy household.

Color is just as pictured. The line you see on picture of back is actually a zipper which makes the back ugly, and of course, that is the most visible side.
