Console Euart

One star for stability and one for the design. That's it. I bought two to use as one long console table behind the sofa but am unable to do so. For one, they aren't the same height, the corners are dented, and, therefore, they are not level. Secondly, the manufacturer's attempt to achieve an Aged Pewter look failed miserably. It appears as though they were spray painted with patches of brown and dark gray and then scraped along an combo of asphalt and white chalk. The damage also was likely compounded due to the rather sparse packaging. However, with a decent discount from Wayfair, I decided to keep them because I can probably fix them up with a little spray paint of my own.

Love this console. Perfect for location.

Took a chance on this because there was only one bad photo on Wayfair. But we are thrilled. Darker than the Wayfair photo I would call it a slate blue. High-quality piece with a subtle hammered finish and beautifully soldered joints. Looks like it’s imported, handed down, or a very lucky thrift-shop find. Just right for a tiny entry. Creates a can’t-miss positive first impression for our visitors.

I have it in the entry way against a wall, but I am hesitant to place anything breakable or heavy on top of it because it seems a bit "tippy" to me(meaning it feels a little top heavy), and the top surface is so narrow. That being said, I really like the way it looks and it is the right size for the space.
