This is a 5 star display cabinet! It’s a solid and beautiful cabinet, and I love the wood latches and somewhat distressed dark finish.
I gave this 4 stars because the delivery was so difficult. It was being delivered to a vacation home 2 hours away, so I made plans to be there when I received the delivery confirmation date. I waited the 4 hour window they gave me, and then called when it didn’t arrive after 6 hours. Apparently the truck had broken down and they didn’t think to call me with that info. They rescheduled for a few days later and I again planned to be there for the delivery. That morning I received a call from them stating that there was snow (about an inch) on the road leading to the house and they couldn’t deliver because they were afraid of getting stuck and had bad tires. Seriously This is New England, snow is a part of every day life in the winter! I was told they would call me that day to reschedule ANOTHER delivery date. I never heard from them. I called the delivery company two times and Wayfair at least twice, looking for some help. Wayfair tried to help reschedule, but eventually told me I needed to contact the company myself. I finally made contact, scheduled a THIRD DELIVERY ATTEMPT, and again made plans to be there 4 days later. The cabinet was finally delivered and I love it, but now I’m hesitant to order anything from Wayfair again that requires this type of delivery. The company, Trend Deliveries, was definitely not a five star delivery company and would definitely impact my decision to purchase furniture from Wayfair in the future.
