Good product little hard to put together little flimsy

Ordered this desk but was missing a piece Wayfair was good trying to get this issue resolved however the manufacturer was very very slow getting us the correct part

Love this desk. Thought I could put it together on my own. I was wrong. 26 pieces️

When I unpacked the box there was 4 pieces either cracked right through or lightly. The main cracks/breaks were for pieces 5 & 6 which form the front & back sides of the top. Unfortunately they are also the most noticable. The other piece that was cracked is the first pic. but fortunately it wasn't broken right through. I glued the necessary parts with a strong adhesive and put it all together as I had already given my old desk away. All the built in steel supports and cross pieces under the top of the desk make it secure. I like the desk but think maybe the thickness of the panels may be an issue. Not sure if I can fill in the visible cracks but that's the next step. Your comments would be appreciated. Barry Wray
