I needed a table that I could actually slide my feet under without a big base in the way. I also like that it is more on the smaller side and it is solid wood. Assembly was super easy all I had to do was screw the legs in and it came with an allen wrench took me less than 10 minutes. My reason for deducting a star is because the top is not glossy or shiny or smooth it has somewhat of a little bit of a grain to it. I'm afraid with that it might be porous if somebody spilled grape juice or something on it may stain the wood. But I plan to cover my table or use placemats when we are eating. Overall this is a very sturdy table and it's going to also be used where I can set my sewing machine on it because it's so strong it would have no problem with me sewing. So this is a big yes for me on this table, I love it.

Quite disappointed. This table is completely raw wood, or close to it. One touch with greasy fingers and it’s stained. Water soaks into the table, rather than beading. I’m now having to do damage control to get the marks off the table. Then I’ll have to sand and wax/finish the table. Like WTH!
