I ordered the cream velvet option due to its modern yet artistic design which is on trend. However, the images online vs the reality of what I received in person—were incongruent with each other. First, the sofa arrived in multiple boxes and most of the boxes were a bit damaged. Secondly, upon unboxing the first two pieces—they were NOT clean and significantly damaged. Finally, noting the above, it was very clear that there were no quality control oversight administered before shipping—which is quite alarming for the price point of over $3k. In conclusion, I contacted Wayfair—and initiated the immediate return of the “sofa & chaise,” and they complied. Please see the images posted as described.
