I did not purchase this to use as a desk. I needed a corner vanity and did not want to spend a lot of money. This was perfect for the budget and worked out great! The directions were very straightforward and easy to follow with the exception of the final step of placing the top shelving to the bottom base. The two sections in the corner as I show in the picture want to separate. This requires two people. I assembled this by myself and it took several hours. It is a great piece of furniture for a gaming desk or to use as a vanity. The light strip is a straight continuous wire and does not have an L shape to allow for the corner and sticks out. The convenience of having two USB and outlets on the surface of the desk are definitely an asset for any electronic use. Highly recommend.

I bought this for my son's room. he is a gamer and have lots of games and gadgets. it is perfect for him and doesn't take up a lot of space in fact it makes his room look bigger and his room is really organized. He loves it!
