I have NEVER loved a piece of furniture more than I love this LED lit coffee table! The lights on it light up the whole room! The colors are bold and beautiful! They give the living room ambiance and character! My gkids, friends, neighbors all love this table! It is the talk of the neighborhood! lol The lift top is perfect for a desk when I want to be with my gkids and son, in the living room, but have tasks that need to be addressed as well. I do my grocery list, my budgeting, my bill paying, my weekly scheduling, etc… all on this tabledesk and still get to spend time, join in conversation, and hear the kids talk about things they like or want, giving me Cmas present ideas. lol The kids love these lights too! They get to take turns holding the remote control, or can “earn” their fave color to be on by doing what they are asked ie put their popcorn bowl in the sink, quiet down so other ppl can hear the movie, get the pillows and blankets for a pallet so they can lay down while watching their movie, etc… This table is the best “kid reward system “ EVER! lol The kids can do homework on it while I work. They also have their coloring books and markers in there. I can keep my notebooks, scheduling calendar and budget book in there next to their things. The kids feel “big” like they are doing “work” like Meme, since my work is in the table next to their things”work”. lol My friendscompany love these table lights too! I also keep my cards and Dominoes in their wscore pads. No having to leave company to gather up games if we decide to play. Everything is right there, together, and ready to go as soon as we decide “game on”! lol Even wo the lights on, this table adds class, character, and function to the living room. The shelves store books, display pictures, and shows off little trinkets! This table is the perfect size and is beyond functional in regards to a coffee table’s traditional functions! I cannot say enough about this table…and NOBODY that sees it can quit talking about it! lol The price is by far affordable for the avg working person, but exceeds in beauty, function, fun, and character, than any avg, traditional coffee table! I highly recommend this table! It satisfies both a young, hip personality as well as a traditional more subdued personality! This table is versatile in its own personality! lol. I LOVE IT! Putting this table together was easy enough. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The table top is strong enough to hold a child, it raises high enough to comfortably use a laptop, and there is a fair amount of open storage as well as the large inner area. Plus the lights are a fun extra!

This is a very nice coffee table, and it looks great in my living room. It was packaged very well, and I received it in perfect condition. The only tool needed for assembly is a Phillips-head screwdriver, and it is included with the rest of the hardware. I was able to assemble it all by myself, and I am a 72 year old female. The assembly was very easy, until it came to installing the lifting mechanism to the top of the table. The instructions recommend two people for assembly, but I don't have a second person lol. I did manage to get it put together, but it took some time to do it correctly. The finished product looks great, and I am quite happy with the end result. The large inside storage is great for storing remotes and other things. I love that the top of the table raises up, because it's great if you want to have a snack while watching TV, or if you need to do some work on your laptop. The only thing it needs, in my opinion, are some plugs to cover the holes where the pieces were screwed together. They are somewhat noticeable when you look down at the table (on the bottom open shelving) because of the black surface color and the bare wood color where the recessed screws are. I chose not to install the included LED lights because they just don't appeal to me, and I don't want to run an electric cord across my floor for someone to trip over. All in all, I really like this table and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

The coffee table is okay. It looks cheap overall and I’m not sure how you can plug in the LED strip when coffee tables are in the middle of the room. It’s a little wobbly when the lift top is up. It just doesn’t work for me.
