The solid wood, dovetailing, and high-gloss finish are as advertised. The quality of the runners in the drawers were below expectations given the price point. I had not thought through the constant rattling the hardware makes every time a drawer or door is open and shut. Perhaps that will improve with more weight in the unit and a little more effort on our part to ensure it is balanced and level.
