Grand lit plateforme avec rangement Avalon

I don't know why this item only got 2 stars. It's EXACTLY what I wanted, and I love it! I replaced a regular queen size bed in our 2nd bedroom (because it made the room useless), and I now have a room which has become MY office and a quiet respite after my husband has gone to bed--I'm a night owl, he's an early bird. I love the desk attachment!!! Honestly don't think the bed will be used much, but it's necessary if we have overnight guests. The assembly, according to my better half, is a bit challenging and not for the inexperienced. The finished assembly, for the price, is a bit disappointing--exposed screw holes, hinges and shelf adjustment holes. Maybe cheesy, but a couple of sheets of paint-matched adhesive "dots" would've been nice to camouflage the holes. I don't think there's an answer for the hinges supporting the desktop (they're not that noticeable and they match the handle hardware). The only other disappointment, for me, is the color. It is most definitely NOT WHITE!! My walls are painted a WHITE BASE white. I would love to be provided with the exact color that is used in the manufacturing process, so I have touch-up paint for nicks and dings. I am LOVING my new room!

Really happy with this piece. Functional desk while it is up most of the time, but makes a great guest room when down. Wish I had done this sooner. It was a little tricky even for the professional handyman to install and still required some finessing. Strange that such a pricey peace would have some exposed hardware, but not too visible and concealed when the bed is up. Sleeps very comfortably. No boxspring needed.

I haven’t finished putting it together but so far I absolutely love it.

Overall bed is great. However there is a crack in one of the cabinets that needs to be repaired and the handles on same cabinet are tarnished. Seems like this priece was very old and in Warehouse too long
