This desk fits my needs perfectly for a work corner nook in my sunroom. The drawer is spacious enough for all my materials. The open slot fits my 16 inch laptop, extended screen, and clipboard perfectly. I especially like that it has extra storage that you can close in the back of the desk to hold other materials and keep them out of the way, as I have pets that I don't want getting into my stuff at night. Also, the embedded power cord is excellent as it has two traditional outlets and two USB ports in it and I like how that extra section keeps my cords out of the way. The desk is extremely functional with a modern look. The only drawback is that it is a bit higher than normal desks so if you are looking to purchase a stool or chair, ensure it has adjustable height and I would recommend that it at least measures 22 inches to the top of the seat (or alternately you could cut some off the bottom of the legs to make the entire desk shorter). There is also a wooden frame at the bottom of the desk that can press on your legs if you put the seat high, so may need to problem-solving that if it becomes problematic.. Amy. Iowa City, IA.
