Very fast delivery (3 business days). Arrived in 6 extremely large and heavy boxes (too heavy for me to scoot more than a few inches on my own). 4 were too large to fit through the front door (these were the boxes with the 4 sections of the sofa and loveseat that have arms), but once you open them, they each contain the seat base and seat back which can be brought in separately. Super easy, straightforward, tool-free assembly (the pieces all just slide and snap together); we did not even need to use the included instructions. There was an envelope included inside the center console delivery box that contained the 2 metal slat guides needed to attach the top to the base for the center console. There was no odor to the sofa or loveseat. The sofa and loveseat color (brown) was pretty much as pictured; it's a medium brown color, warm, with no orange tones. The stitching is very light cream (not white) and the stitching very visible against the medium brown, so this high-contrast may or may not be to your taste. We chose this sofa and loveseat because per the dimensions, it appeared it would be slightly larger and roomier than some of the other options we were considering. In person, I would say this is very true. The sofa seats are tall from the ground, the seat depth is generous, and when the seats are reclined most of the leg length is supported. The seats are firm and springy (not soft/cushiony in my opinion). The seat backs are soft and cushiony. Construction-wise, the sofa and loveseat appear to be very sturdy and well-made. Cosmetically, there are, however, a couple places where the seam stitching doesn't seem to be exactly in a straight line, but it doesn't affect functionality and isn't very noticeable. The manual recline function works as expected. Please note that the leg support part of the recline pops all the way out at a 90 degree angle; I wasn't able to keep my legs dangling at a 45 degree angle easily as it kept wanting to drift back up. To close the recline, you have to use a very assertive and intentionally sweep back; it will click closed with effort. The faux leather feels and looks really durable, but only time will tell. We have two little dogs that have jumped and run and played all over these in the short time we have had this sofa and loveseat, and we have not even noticed a single scratch/puncture so far. As far as the appearance of faux leather goes, the look is perfectly fine for us. The material is matte (not shiny) and has some texture. We were looking for a sofa that we could easily clean that would not take on dog odor at around this price point, and we could not be more pleased! Very happy with this sofa and loveseat which looks awesome in our living room. Really pretty sofa and loveseat set.
