These are very nice chairs, and pretty easy to assemble. The arms, back and bottom of chair are factory assembled, so you just have to pull a flap down the back and attach the velcro strips together on the bottom of the chair, then attach the legs. The seat cushion is fairly firm, but will likely soften with use. The back cushion is comfy. The seat cushion has velcro on the bottom to hold it in place. The back cushion is not attached, but fits snuggly between the arms, so it stays in place without having to reposition it after you get up. The seats are wide, they're a good size for larger people..
