I got this bed for my 17 year old nephew. He put it together mostly by himself. The bed was not hard to build, just LOTS of pieces and steps-so very time consuming. Two people are needed for some parts. Some of the wooded pieces were hard to slide into position-most required forcing into place. There were a couple pre-drilled holes that did not line up well and one screw was missing from the parts. (I did not try to contact the company, instead we just went to Lowe’s and bought a replacement.) The cutout for the power outlet does not come pre-drilled for the screws, so a power drill is necessary for that part. (Not sure why they didn’t just pre drill the holes.)
The instructions were okay-no words just pictures, but they could have been more detailed.
-For example, when assembling the drawers, there are plastic clips that hold the metal bottom and sides together. The instructions were unclear on how to attach the clips, so we made a video to show it.
Minor assembly challenges aside, the bed is really nice and very sturdy. The materials seem to be high quality, and I think the bed will last for several years. The manufacturer probably just needs to have more stringent quality checks to ensure the items are correct prior to shipping.. Melissa. Thu Jun 26 2025
