Wow! This bed is SOLID. It definitely takes 2 people to assemble. We even had my 8 year old help hold one of the side pieces at one point, although a stack of books would have worked. But I love how sturdy this frame is. I think it's a great value and will last for many years to come. Instructions/assembly were pretty simple/straightforward so I'm not sure why another reviewer said it was hard. We assembled in about 90 min and that included careful unpackaging and moving all of the boxes into our truck for disposal. The center supports don't reach the ground. The holes also didn't align well with the steel support. We are going to prop up with some rubber stoppers. That's def a little annoying but not worth docking an entire star.
