The chair arrived today and was easy to assemble in under an hour with 18 hex screws and 8 legs. The foam section is heavy and bulky, so two people may be needed to lift it onto the base. The pillows and chair arrived compressed but are gradually expanding.
I’m giving it 4 stars because of the noticeable gaps between the panels and the lack of center support legs at the front and back. Sitting on the center edge of the ottoman could be a concern. The chair is soft and very comfortable, but we’re allowing 24 hours for full expansion before using it together.
We chose this chair for its all-foam construction, avoiding the metal bars and thin padding found in competing models. We also preferred one continuous back pillow rather than two with an uncomfortable gap between them.. Lisa. Sat Oct 17 2026
