Cheap... I threw out the back panel at first because I thought it was just a boxing separator since it was made of basic cardboard. This is basically 4 melamine boards with plastic shelves. Mind you they sell this for 100$ bucks, save your money and find something of better quality elsewhere else. Rip off.

For this price, the manufacturer needs to improve the shelving or lower the price. The product is attractive and practical but the shelves sag with the smallest amount of card stock on them. My husband spent $14 on 5mm birch-faced plywood and cut new sturdy shelves. I repurposed the plastic shelves for another purpose. Photo is with new shelving.

The plastic inserts are not good. Very cheaply made .

I liked this unit for sorting, but I would have wanted the shelves to be more stationary during use.

The plastic separation panes are rather flimsy and the whole file does not look good.

We needed a paper organizer to help us declutter and organize our assignments for homeschool. I didn’t want anything that looked cheap. This was perfect, and easy to assemble.

The shelves are not secured in anyway so can not be put on its side, they just sit atop pegs. The shelves are plastic, so you can't put a ton of weight but functional for paper use!

While it doesn't look exactly like the picture, it is much almost white, and the panels are square, not curved, that can be fixed.. The directions are superb. This goes together quickly. I think I am going to be very happy with this, although I am not using it in the vertical position.
