I really appreciate the design concept of this elevated ceramic cat bowl. The shallow bowl is excellent for preventing whisker fatigue, and the elevated height of the stand is great for my cats feeding posture, reducing neck strain. The ceramic bowl itself is well-made and easy to clean. However, the execution is significantly hampered by two key issues stability and fit. There are absolutely no non-slip grips on the bottom of the wire stand, so my cat can easily slide the entire unit across the hard kitchen floor during mealtime, creating a chase for her food. More frustratingly, the ceramic bowl itself does not have a secure, locked fit in the wire holder it sits very loosely and can easily be knocked over or shifted out of alignment by a playful or impatient cat. If the manufacturers were to add non-slip pads to the stand and create a more secure locking mechanism for the bowl, this would be a perfect five-star item. As it stands, it requires improvisation to keep it stable.

My cats seem to enjoy using this bowl. It has a sturdy stand that prevents it from sliding, and the raised height makes it easier for them to eat comfortably without straining their necks. However, the bowl’s flat surface might not be ideal for every cat. One of my cats tends to push food off the plate while eating, so it might not be suitable for cats with different eating habits.
