Great, high quality cat tree. Much better than a carpet covered cat tree so we can display it in our main dining room.

Not a very good tree for large cats, otherwise I would give this 5 stars. It's really easy to assemble and it took me just under an hour doing it by myself, and it's a really attractive tree and could fit into almost any decor. But I have 3 large boys, and so far only one of them has been able to get to the two upper levels. There's just not enough room on top of the cubes for large cats. I added stick-on scratch pads to the sides of the cubes, both to give the cats more surfaces to scratch and to give it more color dimension, and I'm going to add smaller strips to the tops of the cubes, because the one cat who is agile enough to get to the upper levels has almost slipped coming down several times. One of my other cats is large and chonky, and after a week he's decided not to try, although he seems interested in the tree, so I sort of feel bad for him. And the third cat is curious but hasn't gotten the nerve yet. So, again, lovely tree, but if your cats are on the larger size, I would recommend something else, unfortunately.

This is a nice piece.. easy build, clear directions. I’m giving it 5 stars.. but the trim around the pieces needs to be glued. Other than that it’s good! Kitties are loving it!

This tree does have some pros, but there are some design flaws as well. Pros: It is very sturdy. The two condos are secured together with a single screw, which adds stability over a box being supported by a single pole. Adding some weights to the bottom helps with further stability. Cons: The biggest con so far is the lowest step. It is simply too narrow. I think it would be a lot better if it were the same size as the long board. My cat has fallen off that ledge multiple times already. Second con, the tallest perch is very unsteady because its being supported by the three segmented poles under it. Third, it smells kind of bad. It's the laminated wood and formaldehyde. Note that it is compliant with California code, so should be fine? But not ideal for someone with sensitivities.
