I love this bird cage! I was able to assemble on my own until lifting the cage to assemble to the base. The instructions were wrong in stating that the short screws serial were required to attach. Use the long screws. The other flaw was that on the Allen wrench the short end should have the screw driver as it was near impossible to use what was provided. From past experience I saved the box it was packed in right til completion and top finnial was missing!! Very disappointed but will find something else to put on top. This may require being kept indoors due to finish.

Poor craftsmanship, frustrating assembly The instructions dont match the parts in the box, which made assembly a headache from the start. The hardware is also a problem. The screws and nuts are aluminum, so they wear down as you tighten them and eventually stop gripping. Once that happens, the piece just stays loose. Quality is well below what I expected for the price. I wouldnt buy this again.
