Wrong directions, incorrect and wrong amount of hardware, doors misaligned and hard to open and close. Missed return window

I haven’t had the chance to use it yet! I’m not reviewing the product, but the company that sent this out without verifying parts. The wrong parts were sent and it will be three whole weeks plus who knows how many days before I can even get this set up. This was delivered on April 29th. It’s a shame it will be almost an entire month before it can be used. My old one is falling apart right now. Parts won’t ship until the 15th and it’s just a waiting game. For this being my first Wayfair order, I’m definitely disappointed.

This was a bit challenging to put together, but once we finished it is a great cage for my cat. The doors are rickety as others have stated. We took them both completely apart (one had fallen apart in transit). We pulled the existing wire nails out, added wood glue finishing nails. Also the top panel did not have countersunk holes for the four support posts, so the screws were too short. Once we purchased longer screws it all came together beautifully. It was a lot of figuring it out as we go as the instructions are not great. Ours is a rectangle as pictured, not the oval someone else received.

While I love this design, a bit more perfection needs to go into it. Each long pole are ALL different sizes, making it hard to get the top sat down on and I was missing a wooden door peg. My concern with this unit is the 2 days ago, the last two pegs ended up getting a little bit wet when the kittens splashed some water out of their bowl, little did I know the wooden pegs got wet and the wood pegs holding to the doors locked into place had started to swell, which in turn locked my kittens inside the this entire unit. I was unable to open both doors. We had to get a hammer and beat the pegs loose at the bottom, forcing the pegs upward so the pegs could be pulled out allowing both doors to then open. I was absolutely furious over this, I do not have that kind of strength in my hands, if someone had not been here, my kittens would have been locked in until I could get someone to help me get the pegs out of the holes locking the doors in place. If there had been an emergency and I needed to get them out of this unit asap, I would have been S.O.L. This is not a good feature, the 3 locking pegs for the two doors need to be metal. For the price of this unit, I would have expected far better workmanship and efficiency on the exterior use/framing.
