The fabric that is on the bottom half of the scratching post is sort of like carpet but did not last even a month. It is already shredded and coming off the wood post. Wayfair is sending a replacement part. Hopefully it's constructed better.

Easy to assemble and our cats LOVE! Them, I bought 2. I would definitely recommend!

Super easy to put together and seems sturdy. Within minutes of putting it out, our youngest cat jumped right in.

Love this scratching post! It’s great quality and better than one I bought off of a petco site.

The post assembly is very easy and the cats are into it. The only reason it didn’t get five stars is because it’s a little more wobbly than others we’ve had, and it’s a bit shorter. But the cats seem happy so I am too.
