The bottom metal piece is extremely heavy and it is so difficult to screw in the 3 metal bars from the bottom. The screws took forever to get going and were very difficult to screw in. When we used a drill, it snapped the screw in half. There’s no soft surface for the cats either, you have to put something separate on top. Bought because it’s a “nicer” looking product but for the hassle and the price, I’d pass.

The unit is a modern style, which I wanted. It's smaller than I'd like and the smooth, flat surfaces are not easy for cats to jump to - nothing to grip with their claws. I'll be adding some pieces of carpeting to the four levels. The assembly instructions were difficult to follow, though I put it together successfully. Am I glad I bought it? Not so much.
