Made well yet still light. Well packaged (like furniture). Very stable. I bought 8 panels (1 panel is the door, but this can be put together with 6 panels. So very versitile. Door latch is decent and will stay closed on its own. I would say it is suitable for puppies and small dogs. I keep my 12 lb PooChon in it. I am very satisfied with this product. It allows me to set it up and not worry about my dog leaving the yard. My only complaint is the stakes are easily bent, the construction on those could be a lot better
