Grattoir vertical avec jouet suspendu

I so wanted this cat scratching toy to be amazing, but it just does not work. The top is way too heavy to stand up. The spring is not strong enough to make it bounce back up after the cat hits it. The suction cups do not suction to my tile floor either, so they are pretty useless as well.

Cat scratcher arrived packaged well. The picture where you see my cat is the only time shes touched it. Im giving this 5 stars because I think for a high energy cat this would be perfect! It flops over a d the they could bunny kick and do all kinds of fun stuff with it! Not my cat...I think it scared her. It is very top heavy so when she went to scratch it, it just fell over. It is attached to a spring and the spring should be a little tighter so it could just sway instead of flop. Im going to try to fix it to where the spring is omitted. I think she would use it then. If you have a fraidy cat like mine, I dont think this would be for them. If you have a high energy cat, I think this would be perfect!

We wanted to love this… Initially the cats were really interested in the training post. I thought it was really cool and hoped it would hit. We had a couple of bumps - the screw nuts did not fit in the area provided. Our floors are porcelain tile with a wood grain and the training post would not stick to them . Lastly when playing with the post it would invariably fall over as the top it quite heavy. Still giving it 4 stars for design and the cats are interested until it plops over.
