Big enough to comfortably fit a big cat or a little sphinx like the 7lb one in the picture. It heats up in the center mostly. My cat seems to love it! It may be able to fit two medium sized adult cats at the same time. Love it! Definitely not warm enough on its own outside. I would put it in a well insulated area for outdoor cats.

I bought this for my Sphynx cat and she absolutely loves it!! She especially love the clear top so she can see us at all times. We call it her spaceship!!

I bought this to sit outside my front door when it’s cold out. The heating pad is barely warm. I wouldn’t say it’s all that good for outdoor use. My cat seem to like it though.
