Easily destroyed toy in less than minutes might be dying because of it.. no listing as to what was stuffed inside toy but it was hard and solid

My cat was in it within a day. Loves it. Two questions I had when purchasing the product and would like to see in the description of other heated products: 1) what is the length of the electric cord and 2) whether you can use the product with an extension cord.
