Traversin Thermo-Snuggle

I wish the sides had a little more structure to it. I have to help them in sometimes because the sides just flop down or they just lay on the mashed down sides.

Bought this last year. I'm not sure if there was something to hold up the sides inside, but it flattens out. Will be looking for something better this year. Jewels is 17 years old and does need extra warmth. We love most of your products. with 7 dogs and cats and strays outside and cold winters and hot summers, most everything works well that we have purchased.

My cat LOVED this bed. I got it for her about 6 weeks ago and she has spent SO much time in it. I bought this bed because the description said that it was machine washable. I washed it today in a cool, 30 minute wash cycle, in a front load machine. I dried it on low with a couple of other items in the dryer. The fabric came out great. The padding--both on top of and underneath the compartment where the heating pad goes--is destroyed. It appears to be some sort of sheet batting that was not secured in any way, so it just folded over on itself and bunched up in the wash. There is no way to access it without slicing the bed open, so I tried to unfold and straighten it out by manipulating it through the fabric cover. The piece on the bottom, under the heating pad, straightened out somewhat, but the piece that the cat sits on, between her and the heating pad, is a mess. It's either 2-3 times thicker than it was, or there is no padding at all. This "washable" bed is RUINED after one washing. I have other K&H products (Lectro-soft) that have been fantastic, so this is a HUGE disappointment. If you are not going to make the padding washable, then make it removable. Aside from the complete waste of money, I feel so bad for my cat, she just loved this bed and she is going to miss it.

I wish I had known the importance a long time ago of a heated bed for my cats. I am sure my old 22 year old kitty lived an extra year or two because her old bones were gently heated in one of K&H's beds! I can bet on a cool morning where I'll find all my barn cats- in their heated beds. This one snuggle cup bed is a fabulous addition to the other K&H beds, we use for our clowder of cats.

Our Rat Terrier, Raya, *loves* this bed! She lives in it. We named it after her, the Raya bed. At first I thought it was too small and planned to return it but Raya took to it immediately! She never acted as if it’s too hot—she loves the warmth. She also loves the bed equally as much in the summer with the heater removed.
