Super easy to assemble, (I even cut the tie off that was clearly marked DO NOT CUT), but it worked out fine. This gate is very strong and well made, looks nice, and is very easy to open. Couldn't be happier. NOTE: I was not able to install this where I originally wanted, one wall was slanted on a 45 degree and the other was square. The way it looks to me you need a flat surface for the pressure mounts to work properly on a flat wall. They do provide railing mounts for stair banisters. If you have any home skills at all then I'm sure you would be able to quasi-engineer this to adapt to many applications - I'm just not that person. LOL

This gate is awesome. Keeps my toy poodle on the deck.

I live in an upstairs apartment with the stairs carpeted on the inside of the home. This is great. Very sturdy and easily keeps my 2 dogs at the top of the stairs when I leave or come home from work.

Perfect to keeping the dog in a room & easy to get in & out of room at same time. Look nice
