When this playpen arrived, it was damaged. The metal doesn’t seem “heavy duty” like the description states. Customer Service was great & got replacements sent out immediately for the bent panels. The playpen is not exactly what I was expecting, but I think it will work for our needs. It’s definitely intended to be up temporarily, and we haven’t used it yet.

This 40 inch high panel is perfect for our small dachshund who can easily climb out of the 24inch and 32inch tall playpens. This is tall enough to prevent her from climbing out but short enough for us to easily put her in and pick her up if we need to. Sometimes, she wants to stay with us outside when we are doing yard work and this is the best way to secure her for her safety and not get run over by the riding mower. Assembly is pretty straightforward and easy to figure out without any written instruction. Gate easily opens but not easy to get breached by a dog. It’s not flimsy but it’s also not too heavy — this is just right in the middle. I can easily store it away or put it to the side since it’s not too heavy. It can also be used indoors BUT you need something to prevent the stakes from scratching your floor.

This has been our saving grace! We love the flexibility with this item! We didn't need a playpen for our three dogs but we needed to fence off part of our yard. I ended up switching it up again a week later and it was easy to start all over again with a different configuration! It is very sturdy and I can see this lasting a very long time! Now my dogs aren't barking near as much because I am able to keep them from our fence line that we share with our neighbors that have a dog as well. No more fighting through the fence! We have restored our peace! Great item!!!
