The metal container and pump are of good quality, and the pump is relatively quiet. Unfortunately the design of the product does not allow one to monitor the water level. There is no window for monitoring the water level. Only 1 of each filters is supplied with the original purchase, and the filters have to be purchased from the manufacturer, with no filter costs supplied. The instructions say to keep the wiring dry, but the wiring from the pump is inside the water container.

My daughter has this exact ‘fountain.’ She purchased it from Wayfair way before I saw it. She has two adopted shelter cats who love it. I don’t have cats but I have a rescued nanday conure. His name is Milo and he’s approx 24 years old. Birds love to bathe, I took the photos when item first arrived. It comes with clear instructions, a filter cartridge and a small cleaning brush. When I filled this up with water and turned it on, my bird was startled but I know he’ll warm up to it. It’s very relaxing.. FYI.. I’d never suggest not following manufacturer’s recommendations but my daughter found it runs better without the filter cartridge. She uses distilled or spring water and has had no problems at all. I’ll probably do the same. It’s an excellent product.. Thank you, Wayfair.

This water dish holds a lot of water and I actually really like the fountain. It took my dogs less than a day to get used to it. My only issue is that the only way to know when the water is low is by how the fountain is running. Also refilling is a pain and always spills water when removing the top because it is suction cupped in. I don't love it but I don't hate it. I'm not sure if I will continue using the fountain because I refill it a lot and don't like the hassle.

Simplistic design makes it even better. Just fill the pot to the line with water, add the top with the spouts and plug it in. That’s all! We were going to use it for the cats but our 70 lb puppy is in love with it!

The water dish arrived quickly and was packaged well. The condition was as described and was quite easy to set up. The water dish holds a large amount of water and the motor itself is very quiet. The only downside is replacing a filter every 2 weeks.
