It does what it says. You can't really put it under anything, and it's not easily vacuumable. There's no way to get all the litter trapped in there, and eventually it stops helping prevent messes and becomes a mess itself. I honestly have the same mess with or without it at this point. It's not expensive but you basically will have to rebuy it once it's full with litter and over time, that gets expensive.

This matt really doesn't do much in the way of catching litter. It's so small my cat just steps right over it.

This mat was just the right size for the area. It does a good job at catching litter and liquid.

Definitely does the job! Great price and it was delivered earlier than expected!
