Very difficult to use. Spent a whole afternoon trying to find the break in our fence. The radio kept playing music, unable to find a station with static.

The wireless fence was indicating a problem with the wire and this was only way to find the break. The instructions and on line video were helpful but I couldn’t find the exact point of the break. You have to the change in the sound. Sounds simple but it wasn’t. I ended up replacing a section of about 40 feet which I narrowed down as the problem area. It worked but a couple of weeks later and I’m getting the wire break signal again. And again I can’t pinpoint the break. But it does make it easy to locate the old wire. Wish I could have rented it.

I had a possible two locations of line breakage. Using this device I was able to find two breaks and mend the break.
