This is fine as a shelf...and could possibly hold a 10 gallon tank. I ordered it for a 20 gallon tank, tried to cancel once I realized that the capacity for the top shelf was only 110 lb! A filled 20 gallon tank weighs between 200 to 245 pounds completely full with water, gravel, and basic gear. The seller refused to cancel the order. Buyer beware! If you put a 20 gallon tank on this, you are asking for a disaster!

Fits two 20 gallon long terrariums well. Works with my set up well and it was the closest thing to what I wanted that wasn't 200+. Seems pretty sturdy, but i definitely would not use for an aquarium as the metal is thin. Took a bit for me to put together, but the pieces fit pretty well. The black surface on the "wood" pieces scratches really easily, so if that matters, I would avoid the product (set some bolts on it and they left marks). Overall, good product for the cost, but nothing extravagant.
