These are just what I was looking for. I turned a 6 foot by 4 foot shed into a coop, and these fit on the sides perfectly, stacked 2 high. Yes, if you are looking for a solid oak gorgeous wood piece of furniture ;) or even a heavy nesting box made of 2x4s and plywood... you'll have to build that yourself. But if you want a quick set of pre-fab nesting boxes, this is that. They are industry standard for that. My flock of chickens are just chickens, so they haven't damaged them at all. They just sit in them sometimes. I think they'll last a while. I've already had them several months with no damage at all. But if your chickens are hulking monsters of destruction or you think these will be strong enough to use as a dog house for your pitbull or something, then you may be one of the people who left bad reviews and were shocked at what they received. You may want to build your own or buy the more expensive metal boxes. But if you're like me and want pre-fab boxes that you can put together in minutes, and keep inside a coop or shed where they won't be out in the weather/rain constantly... these are great.
