My order says 40” tall. My box says 32”. I will open the box and measure what I got before returning. I really needed the 40. My chickens can jump the 32”. I wanted the 40” to block them from jumping over. We have 40” in another part of the yard and they can’t get out.

I moved off of a farm into town when my husband passed away, bringing his beagle with me. I was not able to get a fence installed before winter so I bought this as a temporary solution. Up until I put this up I had to put my dog on a tie-out. I attached this pen to the deck and just have to open the door to let the dog out. I am pleased with this product overall, but wish it were a little heavier duty. My dog is not a jumper, thank goodness, so I was able to get the 32" pen, but if she tried hard enough, I think my 38 lb beagle could push a panel over when the ground is wet. The pins could be just a little longer so they would go deeper. I don't leave my dog outside when I am away because I am sure she could dig out of this. But, the product isn't marketed as a permanent fence, so it is great for a travel pen and, in my case, a temporary fence. I was hoping the 16 panels would make a bigger yard. The panels could be a little wider, but I knew the measurements when I bought it. It was just hard to picture. I ordered another 8 panels to enlarge the area some, but the package hasn't arrived yet. When my permanent fence is installed, I have other plans for this dog pen. It was easy to erect, and will be easy to take apart and re-erect. I would give it 4-1/2 stars if I could.
