We had some norway rats move in under our house. We caught most using the regular snap type traps, but had one lingering one that was outsmarting that style of trap. We set up this trap and placed a cherry dipped in a little peanut butter on the trigger and the next day we caught it.

This is a perfect size trap for the woodrats that want to live under my yurt. They look like extra large mice with cute round ears, but they're too big for my mouse live trap. Other larger traps don't work because rodents like to move through tight places. I had some things stored under the yurt until the rats moved in. Now I've cleaned everything out, but there are a few who still visit my recycling... I don't want to kill them, so a live trap is perfect. I've tried it the last two nights but no takers. They either haven't come by, or they aren't interested in my peanut butter or veggie burger patties. :) The action works well and seems like it will work with the weight of these guys, so it's not the trap's fault. I'm happy with the purchase and recommend it.

I’ve finally found a humane way to trap and release small animals so they survive with this rodent trap. It’s a bit smaller than I thought it would be but still plenty large enough for capturing mice. I put a bit of peanut butter on a scrap of paper and slid it in the trap.

It’s the perfect size I was looking for. I have a rodent in my bushes and think it’s a rat. This seems a more humane way of removing the rabbit before I have to remove rabbits plural. I don’t want to use poison or have anything that can kill/maim.

A have-a-heart trap is just what we needed. We had a mouse! Unfortunately, we did not have this trap at that time and used the traditional spring trap. This will be so much better, and next time we can release the little critter outside. I'm not instruction savey, and found the instructions a bit confusing for me at first. But, it didn't take very long to figure it out. To test it, I found a way to spring the trap by poking something very thin through the small wire, and the trap did spring closed. The company also enclosed a nice thank you and stated if you have any difficulty, just contact them. I am very pleased with this trap. It will be nice to have if needed.
