We bought this one month ago to keep our chicken water thawed during WI winter months. As soon as it hits below 20 degrees, this does NOT work at all. The water is ice and I have had to bring a boiling kettle of water multiple times daily out to the water just to continue to thaw the water. This is expensive and does not work.

I bought this three days ago to prep for the polar vortex, we plugged it in last night. This morning there was ice in their waterer, it’s now 11pm, it is frozen solid. I’m very disappointed, this product is WAY too expensive to not work!!
