This cat tower is pretty cool and takes up a smaller footprint than the cat tower I am replacing it with. The perks are that it has a small horizontal footprint, it is sturdy, its great for multiple cats, and it is held in place by tension so you dont have to worry about finding a stud to anchor it. One of the cons is that the surfaces are not carpeted or textured at all so the cats can slip easily. Be careful with the bucket container because if you dont set it down just right, it falls through the hole it rests in and ends up hitting the floor. The final issue we had was part of the installation. The base of the tower has to be bolted to the rest of the tower with the head of the screw on the floor. The problem is that there was no indentation or bevel to make the screw flush with the platform which means it can damage your floor. The solution we used was to use a wood bit to create a countersink so the head of the screw is flush with the platform. Other than that it has been great so far and my cats are really interested in it.

The cat tree is made out of really nice wood. I decided to stain it before assembling. The assembly process was simple and easy. There’s some ability to customize the levels. It took my car about a week to trust but now she loves it!
