We've received the door and the tension rods have no tension in the top two corners, they pull out and back freely, there appears to not be any threading or opening is too large. This is for the main gate and also for the extenders which also have threads that allow the tension rods to move freely and not allowing tightening. A shame because the main gate and the screws are metal but the fitting to put in the tension bars are plastic and not well made.

Easy to install. I bought it to block the cat from going into my son’s bathroom (she likes to do her business in his shower drain…. not that that has anything to do with the gate lol) She could easily scale the 4’ fence so I bought this gate. It’s sturdy. Has some weight to it … doesn’t feel cheap. I put it up a year ago and no troubles at all. It was a great purchase.

Excellent gate!! This gate is taller so it worked great to for the first year of puppy training our German shepherd !
