This gate is beautiful and blends in so much better than a typical baby gate. Aesthetic is a solid 1010. Unfortunately, the quality and packaging are a major letdown. My first gate arrived with scuffs all over it, likely from the shipping process. There’s zero interior packaging—no wrap, no padding, no bumpers—just the gate in a box. The second one arrived in similar shape, this time with scuffs and a hairline crack in one of the balustrades. It’s delivered via FedEx with no protection, so damage feels inevitable. I’m keeping it because it’s better-looking than most gates and I don’t want to deal with a third return, but it’ll likely need to be repainted at some point. For the price, the construction feels more like a 40 item. They clearly cut corners on packaging, probably to save a few cents per unit, but it’s costing them in returns and unhappy customers. A real shame, because the design had such potential.

Don't waste your money - for the amount they cost, you would think you'd get a quality product. The gate was scuffed all over the place, and one side was broken and would require glue to put back together. No protective packaging when it was shipped - just shoved in a cardboard box. Returned.

Our stairway has white spindles and a black railing so this looks like part of the decor. Perfect and sturdy construction. Easily put together in under 5 minutes. A great value!

I like this pet gate because it’s just tall enough to keep my dogs out of a certain area, but also short enough that my cat can jump over it. The only thing I don’t like is that it does not lock in place. Constantly having to adjust it back to the proper size. For the price of this gate, it should have a locking mechanism.
